Breakfast Time!!!
Just got up, its 6:30 am here....wondering if this getting up early will keep going when I get back....probably not likely. We are getting ready to head down to breakfast buffet (the highlight of the day), soon there after I will be meeting up with out students/host familys to get on a bus a go to the Hong Kong Museum of History. After that we will be having lunch and then taking the kids down to the ladies' market (should be quite the experience for them). This afternoon not sure or not if I am going to the laser show in downtown Hong Kong (the skyscrapers are all rigged with lights and every night at 9:00 they put on a laser show and call it the symphony of lights. Someone asked me in a post what was The Peak....it was simply a really high point at the top of a mountain that gave a really good view of Hong Kong at night (because during the day the smog covers most of the city). At the top of The Peak there is a seven story shopping mall, it would be kind of like putting a mall bigger than Fayette Mall on the top of Jelico Mountain at the Kentucky/Tennessee State Line. Hard to believe that we get to spend this entire week in Hong Kong (doesn't seem real yet)....Sorry that Easter was cold, looks like my family had to have the Easter Egg Hunt inside today! The temperature here has been a steady mid 60's with it getting almost jacket weather when the sun goes down, probably should have packed more shorts! I will be posting pictures of today later on, until then everyone take care-DTW

Didn't I warn you about those chicken feet? We were served that for our first meal in China. I used that meal to become very proficient with my chopsticks--picking up one peanut after another. Actually, you and the students seem to enjoy your cultural experiences. Take care -- kbjennings
Sounds like a great day! The Peak sounds TALL! The mall sounds HUGE! How was the museum? What was there?
